In the month of November 2025, the school ŠC Srečka Kosovela Sežana – Gimnazija inekonomska šola hosted expert Karin Callipo to deliver 3 workshops dedicated to the European project FOODCARE.
During the sessions, Karin Callipo tried to to raise awareness among young people about a more conscious, sustainable, and culturally connected approach to nutrition.
Students showed strong interest and active participation, asking questions and sharing reflections on the topics presented.
After the introduction, each student was asked to choose one of the DIDACTIC MATERIAL and to explore in depth the contents. The objective was to better undertsand the content, reflect on its impact, and to connect it to personal, cultural and territorial contexts.

To conclude the learning experience, students had the opportunity to create a project work, choosing between 3 different formats:
🎤 an interview
🎥 a promotional video
📝 a written article
This flexibility allowed each student to express their interests, creativity, and strengths, resulting in meaningful outputs for FOODCARE Exploitation of Results.
The workshops involved three student groups:
- 27 students in the first workshop
- 14 students in the second workshop
- 27 students in the third workshop
For a total of 68 participating students.
